I would pick AT over the CX series anyday, but I haven't heard that specific AT. I wasn't in love with the CX even when they were popular. now they are dated and out classed by several in the same price range.

I agree with IDvsEGO. I have heard that the older CKM50 model is suppose to be better than the CKM55. It also been cheap in the US with closeout prices.

From personal experience (I got the CKM55s right after the CX300s), the CKM55s are better. But I've recently bought the CKM50s, and I find them better than the CKM55s, though still outclassed by some of my other IEMs.

What music do you listen to? Personally I wouldn't get any of the above.

I like the Panasonic RP-HJE450. I haven't heard the ATH ones. I guess if you can get the ATH-CKM50 for $20-25 you should go for that, but if you have to pay closer to $50 for that or the CKM55, then you should spend around $25 or so and get the Panasonic RP-HJE450, or the Meelectronics M21 or CW31.
