I've noticed a few comments where people have said they had problems with their ZIF connector and had to file the cable. Please don't do this.
ZIF stands for Zero Insertion Force. The connector will have a tab (red, white or blue, which can look like a little piece of plastic hanging down across the front of the connector; lift this up gently and pull out the cable. To insert the connector, lift the tab and push gently. If you break the lever, you will have to lift each side separately. These pages should give you some info,
