Cowon J3 Firmware v2.28

- Fixed the file system error after transfer files to J3 by Mac OS or Linux.
- Fixed the error while playing mp3 files with some abnormal ID3 TAG.
- Fixed the display error in certain situation in Video browser.

somehow the changelog is quite the same as the cowon c2 .15 firmware

new firmwares seem only fix bugs, i look forward some improvements.

At this time, two years after the J3 hit the market, we can be happy that there still are bug fixes coming from Cowon. Other companies would not care even the slightest bit about their products after they've been released (look at Creative firmwares for example). Still getting updates after two years is quite generous from Cowon's firmware department - but asking for new features (which features, specifically?) is probably a bit too much to ask for.

Anybody had any issues with this firmware? My album matrix has stopped working properly since I updated. The album art displays when playing, for pretty much everything. However the album matrix only shows the first 30 or so albums, then they just go blank. Tried rolling back a few versions but no luck. Any ideas?

I just realised my J3 still has v2.23 ... will upgrade tonight. so all files in the J3 memory will be lost, right?

cant get the file at http://dn2.cowon.com/data/C08/J3/x_28/COWON_J3_2.28.zip is anybody else having the same issue? it just never start the download

got it now, it only took like 5 minutes to start
