xvid support for Archos 48
I have recently ordered an archos 48 500GB tablet, and just want to know if this will play back xvids. simple question, but can't seem to find an answer for it anywhere.
also, any opinions on the archos 48? i have read some bad reviews. thanks in advance DAVE (UK)

It has great video support; combine that with the capacity and you have a portable movie store.
But the battery life is average at best (maybe six hours of video) and audio quality is average as well. As for xvid, I know that some of the files I had on mine were xvid, and I only had a problem with the ones that required the plug-in for certain audio and video codecs.
