Hello! I'm new here and I'm for changing my iPod Nano 5G 16 GB. I am am between iAudio 10 an J3, what most interests me is the sound quality... is the same?
Another important thing is the user interface, which is easier to move between menus, change song while walking, etc? Does J3 have buttons to prev/next song without turn on the screen or take it out from my pocket? Because this is very important to me. (I mean this buttons http://i.imgur.com/rBiQe.png) With 16 GB I'm satisfied, If I buy the J3 should I get the 4GB version + 16GB MicroSD or directly the 16GB version? Should I considerer a Sansa player? (Remember, the important to me is Sound quality and on the go listening) EDIT: What about the sound quality of Sansa Clip+, any diferent from Cowon players? Thanks a lot! And sorry for my poor english.

They both sound the same, as all the newer Cowon players do. Just get the player with the specs that you like the best.
As for capacity, most here will tell you "the bigger the better". So I recommend getting the highest amount of internal memory you can afford. You'll throw more music and videos on these because they work so well & look so good.

You can never have too much memory......before you know it, what you have will not be enough.

From what I've heard is the Sansa has a decent baseline sound quality, but with Rockbox you can tweak and EQ to your liking.

As the i10 has touch buttons, so I suspect you will not be able to change track from your pocket with the player in hold mode.
The J3 does have tactile buttons - they are incredibly useful. In my opinion this is one if its biggest selling points. |
