E7 OEM or copycat?

saw something on amazon that piqued my interest...

looks like the Fiio E7 but rebranded. Pyle is not a great name to be associated with though so I am skeptical. Just because something uses the same case doesn't mean the guts are the same. There is about a $30 price difference between the Pyle and the Fiio. who wants to buy one and crack it open to compare?

Couldn't find any additional information about it being a rebrand, apart from the comment on amazon.

If you read the list of parts on both units there are an awful lot of similarities...very interesting!

problem is pyle has been around the car audio world for a long time...used to be referred to as "pyle of $h!t". I wouldn't mind buying as long as pyle had nothing to do with the actual manufacturing of the product.

So would you feel safe saving the $30 and buying the Pyle version of the E7 off Amazon, or would you insist on buying the "real deal"?
If they offered a version of the E10 and it was available for $30 less than the real one, I guess I'd be tempted...

I don't think you can go wrong, it's confirmed OEM and the savings are there, although I don't have a need for another USB DAC/portable headphone amp.

I don't need a portable DAC.....the AMSv2 is good enough for me in that regard. And I have two perfectly good portable amps.....but I am intrigued by that FiiO E10 for my computer sound, and that hasn't appeared on the Pyle scene yet, apparently.
