The most efficient one I own is the JVC HAS360, which is 116 db/mw 32 ohms, which is around 131 db/V. Any theories about how efficiency correlates with sound quality? I guess a very efficient horrible sounding headphone can be made, and a very inefficient great sounding one can be made. I guess if a great sounding inefficient headphone is starved for power, it can't perform at its best.

You pretty much answered your own question. It can go either way and isn't the largest deciding factor.

I thought I changed the word efficient to sensitive in the post, but it seems like it reverted to efficient. I guess I want very sensitive headphone db/V rather than efficient(db/mw). Are there many headphone over 130 db/V? Do you know some of those offhand?

You should be able to edit the title of any thread you start if you use the Go Advanced option in the Edit menu of the first post in that thread.
