Cowon j3 vs Sansa clip

Hi all !

I have original Sansa Clip for about 3 years and it works fine. I use it with Audep PFE earphones.

I consider adding Cowon J3 . Is it a considerable difference in sound quality ? Anybody who owes both player can respond ?

I don't own a J3, but the following is what has been said on these forums. The SQ is considered much the same on both players. The EQ is better on the J3, but if Rockbox is installed on the Clip, then many feel that the Clip jumps ahead of the J3.

Also there is now a Clip+ and ClipZip.
