Who would've thought that Apple would be the next one to get BBE, besides Cowon? Damn. BBE really should release that for Android as well.

Unfortunately, I just noticed that this iOS BBE is a music player app, not a system-wide sound setting. That's kind of silly, limiting it to one app - but I don't know if Apple would even allow tinkering with the whole system (in Android it's only possible with rooted devices).

I'm under the impression that all 3rd-party equalizers for iOS are actually full music player apps, because Apple does not want to give the developers the rights to access driver level or kernel level programming. Anyway... if someone decides to try this one out, besides the obvious sound quality assessment, I'd like to know how good is the user interface. Can you build playlists on-the-go? Can you browse albums with cover art, ordered by the artist name? This is probably the most important feature I'd like to have...

I'm intrigued by this because I wasn't fond of the BBE presets on the Cowons I had....I preferred to just tinker with the Mach3Bass, BBE, and the EQ. These control settings look like perhaps I could replicate that experience.
