Hi,
One of the ear piece shell broke recently (I do not have the missing part), I have uploaded pic here http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/830/por8536.jpg/ They are working fine, what are my options here apart from throwing them away and move on ? Thanks |

If they’re not under warranty to get a replacement for free the only option would be to have custom shells made for around $80.00 to $100.00. The only companies offering the service AFAIK are UM (unique melody) or Fisher Hearing, you can see some pictures here. Although it might not be worth it as a new pair of Super Fi Studio 3 runs around $75.00. On another note you could always try to puzzle it back together with super glue

Thanks but I got them back in 07 so definitely out of warranty, and don't have the missing piece else would have glued it like you suggested.I have IE and TF 10 (on the way), so not very concerned, but I liked them and was checking if there was any way of getting it fixed. May be if not UE shell some other compatible housing. Thanks |
