Default Skyrim

Yes it is the skyrim thread, a place in that you can speak about skyrim.

So onto the topic, between my flatmate and I we have over 120 hours since the launch day. We both stood in line on midnight to get it when it came out. I am playing a nord with skill set mainly in smithing and 2 handed with heavy armor. I am at level 41 and trying to up some other skills including archery. What is your build and such ?

Thanks for submitting this thread.

I was never interested in Skyrim until the newest release came out, (Version 5, I believe?)

Anyway, it's supposed to be unlike any other game in its category, with breath taking graphics, et all. . I'm looking forward to purchasing it soon.

It took me 2 hours to customize my avatar. After that I was so exhausted, I didn't play the beginning of the game.

Hah! I hardly customized my character, like in most of the games, I just cba with it.

It's a very extensive and complete game, feels like an alternative world alright, but I've only played for like 30 minutes. The interface SUCKS (console...), but there are MODs out there to change it and I've accustomed to it already.

There's so many things to do in the game that most of the time I feel a bit lost and not so comfortable because it seems I'm not controlling everything I need to; the compass could be better as well, I had to guess what symbol meant what, since I've never really played any previous The Elder Scrolls. Nevertheless a great game!

I am going to get this eventually. I just bought Dragon Age so I am going to wait till I complete that. I still don't know what to get it for though, Xbox 360 or PC. I don't know if my PC can run it very well though.

I'm partial to console gaming, to be honest... I may pick it up for XBox later.

I am more comfortable playing console games but that may because the chair at my computer isn't very comfortable. With console games I sit back and relax.

Played about 50 hours now, just made a Nord, and started doing whatever I felt like For the most part I'm using one handed weapons, light armor and a shield as it seems to be the most interesting way to do melee combat.

I've only explored about 1/3 of the world so far- I dont just want to run into every zone asap. I like to take in one area then move onto the next, possibly even leaving whole sections of the game for new characters.

On the whole I like it, the little details in the characters, the epic vistas and all but I gotta say I liked New Vegas even more. Yes it was buggy, but it had more heart :P Bethesda games always have a little disconnect with their characters- always feels like people are just stating facts and overly co-operative even if they have no reason to be. This is way better then Oblivion but I still feel I'm falling short of wanting to actually complete this game.

Not sure how many hours I've played. I'm level 40 Imerpial, with level 100 smithing, enchanting, speaking, and one other, can't remember which one. I have full Daedric armor and weapons, Using two handed swords. Have dual enchant on all my items aswell.

I used to be a good player like you, then I took an arrow in the knee.

I just got the PC version in the mail yesterday and started playing it on my laptop last night,so I'm only on level 2 lol Its quite fun to play on a laptop, though I'll probably buy a wired 360 controller eventually to play this game better. Using a mouse works MUCH better than using the touchpad.
