I run a sansa clip+ with a pair of re0s. In the review about the FiiO E6, it says to get to an "acceptable listening level" you would need an amp. I listen to my rockboxed clip+ at -45db and it seems just fine. Should I still get an amp like the E6?
Side note: would getting an E6 hep improve the sound out of my Blackberry? |

If that volume is fine for you, then you don't need an amp. Sometimes their 64 Ohm and 100db/mW sure is too quiet for me on a Rockboxed Clip+ with Replaygained files, but everyone's volume preferences are different.
