Hello,
Have assembled a Cowon X5L 240GB with both batteries utilized. Found longer screws of the same diameter and pitch used for the back cover and fabricated a black gasket to seal the slight gap remaining after assembly. PATA to ZIF adapter from Libmart, Korea. (But it isn't ZIF to insert -- it's a very tight fit). Looks great and works well with Rockbox. When ZIF SSD come down in price the gasket may not be necessary any longer. Great battery life and LOTS of room for FLAC. Had to post something X5 related! |
