Default M-Audio BX5a for $150, Can I do Better?

I sold my Logitech X-540 surround sound system on Craigslist during the summer with the intention of getting a decent pair of stereo speakers since I listen to music more than I watch movies and play games. Today I found a pair of M-Audio BX5a Deluxe for $150. I was not planning on spending that much, but it seems like a good price (about half price). So my question is, can I do better for $150? I really do not want to stretch my budget any more than that since I was really only looking to spend the $75 I got out of X-540. Any suggestions? (BTW, I am not an audiophile, I just want something that sounds better than Logitech.)

EDIT: I guess I should add my listening preferences. I mostly listen to rock. I am not a basshead, I just want to hear the bass. I prefer to to listen at low volumes.

The cheapest I can find them for with a quick search is 200 new. I haven't listened to these but from the looks and specs I think they would be worth a shot. If your near a city you could go to some music stores and see if they have any on display and listen to them. Or if your purchasing from a store you could have zzounds.com price match them and they have a 30-day on questions asked return policy(I've bought multiple items from them and returned some).

I have decided to pass on getting the BX5a. I just do not have room on my desk for something so big. So if anyone is interested in getting them for $150 shipped send me a PM and I will send you the custom quote link I got from having them priced matched at music123.com. Expires on 10/15/11.
