Default Help to decide which cowon player to buy.

I love my sansaclip (zip and +), but i'm starting to miss BBE. I'm looking for a cheapish cowon player that has the following points;

1) small and compact. I clean for a living so want to not feel the device on my person.
2) cheap. Its for music exclusive, therefore screen size/quality isn't as important and hopefully if they have released a model that has smaller screen etc it will be cheaper.
3) 16gb minimum.
4) has quick access controls for skipping track/pausing etc.
5) battery life (the longer the better, but at least good for 9hrs on one charge)

The last player I got from cowon was a d2 (was really nice), so i recall seeing the d2+? Is it worth it? What other compact ones have they done that tick the above criteria?

Cheers,

Bruce

I bought a d2+ after I had my j3 for awhile, and I don't really think it sounds all that great comparatively. I was hoping the 128gb card would get me into near X7 territory capacity wise, but file limits kill the party. Even tried rockbox on it, but I'm still using the j3.

Storage ain't an issue for me. I can limit myself to 16gb. C2 perhaps?

Its looking like (to me), that if i want to replicate the sansaclip experience (small and light) yet have the BBE effect the i9 seems to be the best fit (weighing in at 40g). The other contender seems to be the c2, but its twice the weight.
