marvin, sadly I doubt they're going back and I agree, I find the 7 menu easier to use over the 9 unless you use it all the time.

If this has a nice menu, and SD card support, I could see it being a real winner.

Here it is!

  • Color Therapy UI: 20 background colors and 10 font colors
  • Dimensions: 54 x 114 x 6.9 ~ 12.6mm (variable thickness)
  • Weight: 73gr
  • 3" 240*400 LCD
  • JetEffect 3.0 & BBE - 39 Preset
  • "T-Scroll Touch" controls
  • T-DMB tuner (work in Korea only), FM Radio, Voice recorder, Built-in Speaker, TV-Out
  • Capacities: 4, 8, 16 and 32GB
  • Battery Life: max 38hrs in audio and 6.5hrs in video

Prices in Korea:
* iAUDIO 10 4G : 119,000Won (=$112 or €78)
* iAUDIO 10 8G : 139,000Won (=$130 or €91)
* iAUDIO 10 16G : 169,000Won (=$159 or €111)
* iAUDIO 10 32G : 199,000Won (=$187 or €131)
* iAUDIO 10 DMB 4G : 149,000Won (=$140 or €98)
* iAUDIO 10 DMB 8G : 169,000Won (=$159 or €111)

The main menu looks ugly. Shitty touchpad controls?
3" screen with poor resolution 240*400, WTF?!
No microSD slot?

And actually my source now says it is not going to be released this week but end of the month.

The UI looks pretty to me and I like the design of it,lets hope the touchpad controls are good. Since there is a 32GB version then its an upgrade compared to the last i9 that only went up to 16GB and the battery life is even higher,screen looks fine for a DAP.

Say what you want, but for someone that never owned a Cowon, $187 for a 32Gb device is pretty sweet.

$187 is not the US price of course, I just used the Yahoo currency converter.

It will be more expensive in Europe, in the USA and even on import websites like exportprive.com
Imagine if the 32GB version really costed €130! Everybody would buy it lol

Design is good, battery is improved compare with i9, larger screen, higher price compare with Cowon i9 and...nothing else? What's the...

But if sound quality is better, it will be a good point

Similar body to the cowon s9, banana rocker back plate and it looks like more swing touch, less tactical … :/
