That depends upon the length of the movie (in minutes), it's resolution, color system, sound format and encoding. But mostly, it's the resolution.
For instance, if you made the file 240 x 160, it would be about less than 200 megabytes. Not very big at all. Now take the same movie, but put it in 1080p (1920 × 1080), it could be up to 15 gigabytes or more. Hell, let's go to Red Epic 617, which is measured in 225 MB/s of footage. That means that a 90 minute movie would be (quick and dirty math here) would be 1.2 terabytes. So yeah, resolutions makes a huge factor in file size. There's also things like what sound format is it in, how many sound channels, color format, extra audio tracks or subtitles... lots of factors. |

Most of my movies is in-between 600mb - 1gb.
I been in about 10 out of 100 new threads you created forgot to say welcome.
