545 w/ Sony mp3 dash unit: file sorting problems
I'm using my 545 with a Sony mp3 car player. The Walkman is recognized fine, I can select individual albumbs but track order is whacked. I know what you're thinking... Yes, I've tried DriveSort and a host of other FAT sorting programs. I've reset the deck. I've tried different USB ports on the deck and yet it still shows tracks in order they were copied. Ugh...
Any suggestions before I pull my hair out?

Maybe try to change the timestamp of the file...
You can use BatchTouch or FileDate Changer to change it. And then rename the folder by changing one character, to ensure the tracks to be re-scanned. Last edited by Misha~an; 08-31-2011 at 02:31 PM. Reason: Fix links
