Which one to buy: AKG K701 or Sennheiser HD 598

Hi there

As a new owner of the J3 I'd like to upgrade my earphones accordingly, but cannot decide on which to get. I have my eyes on the
* AKG K701
* Sennheiser HD 598
Is the J3 capable of delivering enough for these headphones, and which one will be the better one?
Or are they a complete missmatch for the J3?

The K701 are a) horrible sounding phones with no bass and too much treble, and b) need a dedicated amp to sound loud enough with portable players.

The Senn HD598 are fine, but they're a marketing trick. You can buy a pair of cheaper HD555 and modify them easily to sound the same: http://www.anythingbutipod.com/forum...ad.php?t=52936 (Another marketing trick - 595 and 598 are basically the same phones as well.)
