I just downloaded my free audiobook from audible and loaded the two .aa files in my C2. When I try to play it, it tells me I first have to activate audible content.
What do ![]() I'm using an iMac... and yes, I DO REALIZE how newbie I sound. I apologize. I tried looking for an answer on the web but I just got more and more confused. Stuff about Audible Manager software (which the Audible website says it's not necessary for Mac) and obsolete forum discussions everywhere. Halp! Thanks!

Is your C2 in MTP mode? I think it might have to be for Audible stuff. I'm not 100% sure, but it is worth a try, right?

Hi Marvin,
Just tried the MTP mode. Didn't work. Here's my situation: - I authorized iTunes for audible content using my account info. The audiobook plays fine in iTunes. - Connected the C2 (now in MTP mode) to the mac - Dragged audiobook parts 1 and 2 from iTunes to the Audible folder in C2 - Safely removed it - "updating database" plus C2 system loading... - Browse for the audiobook, tap on it - "Please activate to play this title" Using iTunes 10.3 and mac OS 10.6 Should I just borrow my dad's PC and download the Audible Manager, authorize both the PC and my Cowon device, and that's it? Would that work for future audible downloads even If I transfer the files using my mac? Thank you |

I'm not sure....I have no idea how the Mac affects everything.
