Need Firmware for Hitachi dmp860

I have a hitachi dmp860 which is stuck at main menu and won't do anything. I could find the firmware anywhere on the internet so if someone has the firmware please post a link or email me. Thanks

sorry for the email. I found out that dmp860 contains Ali's m7103 cpu which has an isp tool that can read the firmware, fortunately I also have a working dmp860 but when i try to write the pm.bin file(which is actually the firmware file) it gives me an error "Invalid Filename". I wonder if someone can give me any directions for that.

if no one posts anything it usually means there's no one here that's familiar with the player or how to fix it. I know of several off brand players and until I researched your post I never even knew Hitachi made a player of any sort.

Usually if you can't get the firmware from the maker or a web search there's just no way of getting it. Sorry.

Feel free to bump this thread weekly. It may attract the notice of someone that has the firmware image you need or the knowledge how to extract the one from the working player.
