I was waiting my brand new 32GB miniSD card, to start playing with my Cowon J3...
The card came today. I installed (a bit tricky business, to be honest) the card, I installed the media center application from the CD, everything's fine. ...But, I checked in the WinExplorer and I saw the root of the J3 (with many folders and stuff) and a "Removable disk" of 32GB - obviously the miniSD. So, do I have now to FORMAT the miniSD first and then... just creating personal music folders and simply copy/pasting in them my favorite mp3? What's the proccess, if you please? |

Format the card with the official SDcard.org formatter before you do anything else.
You can put your stuff in any folders you want, Cowon's structure is just a suggestion, not a requirement. JetWhatever (I forgot the name of the app) is pretty crappy, you don't need it for anything. You can simply drag and drop your files over in Windows Explorer, or use your "sync" app of choice, such as Mediamonkey, Winamp, or J.River.
