Help

I warned you its small lol. I don't know how it ended up this way by the way. Basically the the strip of search options at the top is what I'm talking about. Compare with the normal page. The words being white with a black background. Also if you look over the web option you could see zune color strip (purple faded to orange). I don't know it does it for me every so often coincidentally when I have the software open.

This happened to me today, but i haven't used the Zune sodtware on that PC in a while. i think its just a loading bug with Google Chrome. The color strip is just red for me though, and probably not at all related to Zune. Zune did manage to keep white on black pretty and readable, which is difficult, and I don't think Google would ever allow black backgrounds for any item on the homepage.

Nice to see I'm not the only one lol. So it is just a bug gotcha. Just seemed a little ironic that I always had the software open when it showed up lol.

This is not a bug. I think it's a style change.

Look here . . .

It appeared when I started Chrome a minute ago.

Yea, same here, it looks really cool, I would totally ditch FB for it if it gain popularity, which I'm assuming it will since it's gonna be shoved in you're face whenever you use google.

Yeah, probably. Unfourtunately I know quite a few people who haven't really filled out their google profile, even if they mostly use gmail. it will also be interesting to see how google manages to integrate accounts from everywhere, and emails from everywhere. I'm stuck between the awesomeness of just going to windows live (with the phone and everything all tied together) or going to google, where it would have a bit of a different take on the whole social integration with search. and then there's facebook right in the middle messing everything up; i wouldn't even use it if i wasn't able to find pretty much anyone i want and easily connect to them. I am really liking how connnections with people aren't all on the same level, like linkedin or facebook. I'm always thinking 'i know them, but do i really want them to see everything i post?...'

There's a bit of info on the toolbar as well.

It's a bit weird, I think. Doesn't really fit the rest of Google's page design. But I don't mind it.

I agree, the grey kinda clashes with the whole design, although maybe that's to draw attention to it, or maybe it's just me being used to the old way...

Anyways, I made a new thread in a more appropriate spot to continue the discussion, maybe one of the mods will merger the threads.
