Default Zen Vision M and a hitachi hard drive replacement

I have a Zen Vision M and the hard drive went bad so I bought a replacement a Hitachi hard drive that they said would work for the player. But unfortunately it doesn't. On Ebay the Hitachi listed it model no under ads that it would fix the M or W Zen. My original hard drive is a Toshibi. I know I can get the same Toshibi. But since I pay for the Hitachi is there any way or making it fix the connection do you know?

The Toshibi has the pin connector at the top of the drive. THe Hitachi hard drive has the pin connector on the side of the drive.

Anybody can help I would surely appreciate it greatly! Thank you in advance for your time.
Regards,
Cindy

AFAIK you can’t mod that Hitachi hard drive to fit, everything you need to know is in these threads.
