Hello, folks.
I bought it few days ago - no mp3 files yet, because I'm waiting my 32GB card to import them there - so I'm using the radio. I found my favorite stations easily and all are fine,... if I'm not MOVING my hands or something (and holding J3). If I'll do it, I have noise (little)... And of course, don't have to mention the SUBWAY (I have serious noice and I can't hear my stations when the cars leaving the platform)... Any help? WHAT's makes the difference with the signal? What is responsible for it? The EARPHONES? |

Asked and answered, yea the earphone cable is the antenna, I doubt it works good in a subway, should work best stationary.

So, buying a decent pair of earphones (over 40-50 pounds), the signal would be far better, right?

I think it would be more accurate to say the longer the earphone cord, the better the potential reception.

Really??? Never thought that - 'bout the length of the cable!!!

Longer cable means theoretically better reception, but it depends also on exact location and position of it - sometimes if you move it a couple of inches (raise, lower or change the direction) it can change the quality of signal a lot. Holding a cable in a hand can also influence reception. One more thing - if it's possible, changing receiver mode to mono can help with poor signal level (sound will be mono of course, but it will be much clearer).
