ASKHOUSE is sharp - and right.
It says 8GB and v2 on the back at the bottom, but "Made in China",you never know ... |

Have you checked the firmware version out? The backs are not 100% tho.

Is there a way to enhance the Fast Forward/Rewind functions in the player... listening to audio files that are hours long sometimes prompts me to re-listen to earlier or later chapters (in audio books), but doing this at 10-15 second intervals takes so frickin' LOOOONG. Obviously, this appies to movies as well... there has to be a "shuttle" function somewhere, but I just can't find it!
I have read the manual and scoured the forums... clearly I have missed something. ![]() Please help! CK |

If you have the latest version of the firmware, most likely, it is like the old versions of the firmware of the Clip and Fuze. Plus, I think Sandisk will not release a new version of firmware for the e200 series. Plus, do you have v1 or v2 of the e200 series?

Hi, ADVCOMP2019.
In your first sentence, you mention a couple of other products that I don't know much about, but I assume that they have the same "issue" - that doesn't sound promising for me, I think. Also, based on the fact that I don't see a v2 on the product, I believe that it is v1 (I have the e280). CK |

Have you checked your firmware version? That will tell us the version. Plus, the newer products have this fixed.

Version 01.02.24 A
Just used the firmware updater program to make sure, too.... still can't FF more than 15-20 seconds at a time. |

Since you have a v1, they never really fixed the audiobook issues. You could try Rockbox.

I assume this also pertains to videos, too... just no quick way to FF or RW with my movies as well. CRAP.

Sorry I don't get the tip on forwarding faster through a song on the first page. I listen to a radioshow which is usually 2-3.5 hrs long and this tip would come in extremely useful for when the mp3 gets changed or something and I have to forward through like 3 quarters of the show.
Anyways, I hold the forward >> button and then press and release the hold button (I'm guessing this is the one in the middle) and nothing works, I still have to manually forward through it. |
