Sweet i was a little disappointed when i read they might have ceased being produced for jaben, i like mine so much i will definitely just be getting another set if mine ever die.

If you read the posts, they did state "originals" are back, comming from the jaben team I would say it's safe to assume yes. Glad to hear Uncle Wilson brought them back

Ive always wanted to try out these pairs ... but Im scared of purchasing these at $80 ... I have some trouble of getting IEMs and them always breaking on me. I recently got the TMA-1 and I love them but they are headphones which I already know will last a while. Currently my IEM are some Sony MDR-XB40EX and I love the bass on them. I think I might convince myself to try these Hippos finally though.

I have heard lots of accounts of build quality issues with VBs, just so you know. You gotta take good care of them, just as any headphones, but definitely seen a lot more complaints than other headphones. However, as prolific as the complaints are, I hear just as many tales of how wonderful Jaben's service is.

^ Jaben customer service is awesome. Time and again, they have proven they will do the right thing for people.

The VBs are actually built pretty well overall. The only issues I have heard about involve the clue coming apart at the IEM housing/nozzle joint. But this is easily taken care of with a couple of well placed drops of Crazy Glue.

The cable on the VBs is a bit thin but really, not terribly so.

So I would say that overall, VB build quality is at least OK - and for what you get, in terms of the awesome bass that doesn't suck the life out of mids and highs, I would take the chance, especially with really good service from Jaben.

I did and I love 'em. Don't use mine everyday, but they are the best bass IEMs I have heard yet [though I ain't no expert like others here].

YMMV and as always, caveat emptor!

Honestly I wish I could. I've tried....and no matter what the model or tips, I can't get a comfortable fit. Hope those of you who can use IEM's enjoy these, though.

This here is my big issue. Even with regular headphones. Its torture, lol.

So jealous when I see people on the plane comfortably using IEM's or even headphones, and I wonder to myself "Why the hell can't I do that???"
