RMA'd my Clip+ : headphone socket broke
A few weeks back I'd had enough with intermittent sound. The headphone socket had become worn - possibly from keeping the Clip+ in my pocket and the headphone jack was straining the socket.
I ended up calling SanDisk support and got through to someone in Europe (I live in the UK) and without much fuss, got an RMA confirmation email a few days later with full instructions.
After sending it off (at my cost they insist) in a jjiffy bag with a copy of the email they sent me attached, a wee or so later a nice new retail, boxed Clip+ came back very securely wrapped.
Not bad, but good service, SanDisk.
