Default Formatting internal J3 storage

Hey guys.

I have a question to ask. Recently my J3 has been kinda slow transfer-wise while connected to my PC via USB. I feel I need to format it, maybe not, whatever.
The thing is, I read here - http://anythingbutipod.com/forum/sho...03&postcount=2 - that one can simply format INTERNAL memory of the device and I guyess the factory ROM firmware will be installed during a boot.
Anyway, before I use the utility to format both the internal and sd memory, I would like to get some confirmation, that this will actually not bust my device. I prefer to be careful

So, anyone here done it so far?

Cheers,
gzx
