Hi folks,
For those of us who bought a EU-Version with a limited volume control - I found the solution for the problem. Download the korean firmware e2_fw.sb (it contains of one file only) http://download.cowon.com/data/C08/E...IO_E2_1.12.zip. Then make a copy of that file and rename it to e2_eu_fw.sb So put both!! files (e2_fw.sb + e2_eu_fw.sb) on your iAudio E2 and make a regular firware update. That's it. P.S. I have formated the player before I installed the firware.. I don't think it's necessary. But who knows.. regards, radik |

Doesn't the girl speak koreanish then?
EDIT: Oh well, I guess it doesn't. Apparently the Korean and English (US) firmwares are exactly the same. It's enough to rename the English firmware from e2_eu_fw.sb to e2_fw.sb. I was lucky though, got a non-EU one in EU, yay! ![]() Seriously, now that I think that my iriver clix 2 (which I had lost T_T ) had 17mW, and this beauty has 12mW, I had to have some kind of EU limiter enabled back then (it had huge troubles driving big headphones). Oh well, no more! ^^ Last edited by dark_skeleton; 05-10-2011 at 02:45 PM. |
