Default Cannot connect to Software, Wi-Fi, cannot restore

Hi All,

On a serious note - My zune HD has been playing up recently, and this has never happened before.

When connecting to the software, it sometimes connects but I can not exchange files and get this error message - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/950446/en-us

I have followed all steps on the guide, but not being able to restore the device as after i connect it to the computer to reinstall the firmware, it crashes and i have to restart the zune. When it boots up, all my data is present (?) and i still cannot sync.

I have also tried to delete all files via the software, but as i cannot connect this is not working.

I cannot connect to sync or use wi-fi, however can use my player completely fine otherwise.
I also do not wish to send it in for repair as I live in the UK.

Please please please, if there are any solutions I would love to hear!!
