It might help to know what you did not like about the Aircushions. It may be stretching your budget a bit, but the Maximo iM-590 (MSRP: $60, street price: $40-50) and MEElectonics CW31 (MSRP: $50) are two balanced pairs I like for under $50. The iM-590 is cooler and the midrange is more forward while the CW31 is warmer and more smooth. The CW31 is significantly less microphonic and in my opinion more comfortable--that will differ depending on your ears. However, isolation is not great so it might not be the best choice for noisy environments. Another balanced pair to consider would be the Brainwavz M1, but I have never heard them so I cannot comment.

I am going to recommend the NuForce NE-6's until the day I die prbly. They are on the bassy side though.

^ I continue to feel the same way about the Maximo i590s Lagoo, I use my i590s with my RB Fuze's on occasion and they sound great. They take to EQ very well IMO.

Indeed, some MEElectronics seem quite nice and well received as are the NuForce in this price range from what I have read...

MEE Electronics M6-BK = Win. I bought a pair and when mine failed after 3 weeks, they sent me a new pair first and I then sent my old pair back in the pre-paid envelope they provided. :-p

Thanks for the recommendations everyone. So today since I was in manhatten,I decided to go to B&H on 33rd and 9th street.I liked their selection of in-ear headphones.I decided on a pair of Klipsch Image S3 on sale for $30,same price on every site. Once I got to opening them and trying them with my Sansa Fuze,I fell in love with them right out of the box.I prefer them alot more than my Aircushions that I've been suffering with for 3 months. The Aircushions always had something overpowering and overshadowing something else in every song I listened to but with the S3's,there is no problems.Everything sounds even like they should and any song I throw at them sounds like I'm in the front seat of a live concert.

I bought them for $29.99 plus tax on sale at B&H in Manhatten.I bought the hot pink or perfect pink color as it says on the box but I didn't mind the color. They cost the same price everywhere online.

Glad someone agrees lol and I do plan on stretching my budget, for the next pair I plan on going to the $100 price range with my next purchase in two months.

I just took a look at the Panas HJE900 and it's written there: 'Isolation (3.5/5) Good for a dynamic-driver IEM' - Is isolation and the driver type even relational?

Dynamic are normally vented, therefore relational.

The Pana is no exception on the vented front but it does have above average isolation.

"Street price" is just that. That means any vendor, anywhere including "B" stock and open box. There's also no consideration for taxes or shipping.

If you do a google shop you can find them at around $40. That doesn't mean you'll pay that as a final cost or they'll be new.
