Default Bad screen flicker?

So I've had this happen since I bought my ZuneHD and I don't know why it does it. When I'm using the internet it happens the most, there are lots of black/grey lines going up or down the screen. And they usually go away after the page haw finished loading. It also sometimes happens when I'm not using the internet. Does anyone know why this happens and does anyone else have this problem? Thanks for the help

This is a common issue lots of people have, Microsoft has not acknowledged it as they seem not to be able to reproduce it.

It happens when you max out the processor. Probably a power issue. Nothing particularly debilitating.

I get it a lot too. It happens every time when I load the facebook app, browse the web, and sometimes during the "Now Playing" screensaver

Yea, I've noticed it happens when my Zune's "thinking" a lot. But, other than being a slight annoyance, it has no detrimental effects.

Ok good to know my Zune isn't broken. Odd that Microsoft can't reproduce the problem when it happens so regularly.

I think it's an issue that doesn't have too much of an impact, and claiming that they can't reproduce it is an easy way to blow it off so that they can focus whatever resources the Zune team has on more important matters. Besides, I'm sure it's a hardware issue, in which case there isn't anything they can do about it short of a recall which definitely wouldn't ever never ever happen.

Seriously? Sounds a bit like Toyota.

But Toyota recalled many of their vehicles. And then fixed the problem with the next model. And my zune will never get recalled, and there wont be another model.

... And a screen flicker is a bit of a difference of severity compared to accelerators sticking down...
