With limited battery I was wondering if anyone knows the best codec for the least power drain.
I'm rather thinking it'll be flac, uncompressed as it is, but maybe not. In any case I would rather use a compressed codec as otherwise my clip+ is going to fill up rather too quick. Sometimes things are counterintuitive so maybe flac is the worst? |

If you don't want to use all the space that FLAC takes up, I think Ogg Vorbis is your best bet for maximum battery.....check http://www.rockbox.org/wiki/SansaRuntime to be sure.
