Default S9 skipping to next or previous song when bumped...

My S9 will skip to the next or the previous song when jostled. In fact, I can hold it in my hand and just "flick" it to the left or right and it changes songs. Is this normal? If not, why is it doing it and how might I fix it?

Sounds like a weird setting. . . have you checked all the settings? Btw, how do like the NE-6's?

Ha, I figured it out. It's actually a feature. Not sure if it's unique to V2.53 or not. It's actually kind of cool...now that I know how to turn it off!

I like the NE-6's a lot. Great sound! I'd say they sound better than my Shure SCL2's did for a third of the price. My only complaint is that they don't seem to stay in as well as the Shures did, and the sound isolation isn't quite as good. Maybe that's just user error, though...

Thumb Up

By they way, Satellite 6, it was on your suggestion that I got the NE-6's. So I owe you a big "thanks"...they're just what I needed.

Yeah I was recommended the NE-7M's (the same thing) like 2 years ago and the NE-6's keep getting cheaper so I think they're still an excellent deal.

Unfortunately the tips that came with the NE -6's were crappier than the ones that came with the NE-7's so you might want to try some different ones.

So I assume you had the 'shake' thing turned on?

Yep.

Hey, in my defense, it's not in the Owner's Manual.

@Satellite 6: Has anyone done a review of the 700x's?

Mine does it sometimes with the setting OFF! And while setting volume too. Amusing and annoying.
