has anybody had any refurbished headphones? Do you think its worth saving the money or spending a lil more for brand new ones?

I'd say it depends on the seller. If its a well respected seller with loads of positive feedback, I'd say they probably do a good, professional job at refurbishing the phones. If they apply a good amount of quality control, test the product and make sure its packaged and cleaned properly, there is no reason not to get a refurbished phone. It'll be cheaper and might even be burnt-in a little bit, making it sound great right out of the box.

See no reason not to. Only thing is, in the EU you'll only get a year of warranty instead of 2, unless the factory backs it up for the full 2 years. Depending on the model, even buying used can be a good idea. My HD 25 SP's were bought used, and had been used on Concords. Still sound great 3 years after that.

I've bought used headphones, not refurbished, and as long as they work I don't see any reason not to buy used stuff. I've had to buy replacement earpads, but if you buy refurbished that work is already done. Throw in some sort of warranty and a lower price than new phones, and it's a great deal!
