A few questions before I buy a J3...

Hi all, a newbie here and I need some advice. I'm looking at buying a Cowon J3 but need an answer to these questions before I go ahead:

1. Will it work on a pc running 64 bit windows 7?
2. I listen to audiobooks travelling to and from work, will the J3 connect via bluetooth to a car stereo? If so, does anyone know how to do it?
3. Will it resume where you last switched it off and can you set bookmarks?

If the answers to these are yes, this is definitely the player for me!

Yes! I currently have a J3 and I am experiencing no problems whatever

Yes, it will resume whee you left off and bookmarks can be set as well.

Wow, thanks for your ultra fast reply musichound! That's great it works on 64 bit win 7 - thought I'd better check 'cos when looking at buying the spec said "at the moment there is no compatibility with windows 64 bit systems". Fab it's got bookmarks and resume. I'll just hang on to see if anyone knows if it can connect to a car stereo with bluetooth.

2.) The J3 supports BT 2.0 A2DP (audio) and AVRCP (remote). If the car deck supports at least A2DP, it should be possible to pair it with the J3.

i have a few questions. im looking to buy a 16 gig j3. im just wondering how many gigs the player actually has? anyone with a 16 gig j3 know? Last question, what are the major downsides of the j3?

I have the 16 gig and it's about 15.5 GB. Hope that helps!
