so they suspended ubertwitter

i know some of yall probably don't care for tweeting and whatnot but for me its therapeutic to just get my thoughts across when stuck at work or whatever boring situation. anyway, i am a blackberry user and the suspended three twitter apps and then same breath promote twittermobile. smells fishy but who knows really. i already use the official twitter for my music blog but i used ubertwitter for my personal tweets. anyone here also affected by this?

That's pretty weird, I wonder why they did that? I have Ubertwitter on my BB but hardly ever use it anymore since I've gotten a Touch.

from what i read, the explanation of it made sense. they said copyright infringement, cause of having TWITTER in their name. if your profile is on private but you post a longer message than normal twitter, it sends it to a site like twitlonger or tmi.me to show extended message BUT the privacy level doesn't apply to it since its not under twitter and i forgot the other reason but it makes more sense now. the company just changed its name to ubersocial and took out the extended characters option and some other fixes now. they just need to wait on twitter to check and approve.
