Default samsung r0 and mains charging

has anyone used a mains charger(usb mains plug adaptor)to charge their mp3 player with.im about to get one but a pc is not always at hand

I've got a charger for 4 € on the bay and it works correctly! It takes like 2h30m to charge but I think is normal.
Before I used to use the port of my adsl router (or pc of course)

EDIT: in both cases everything works ok. I don't understand why Samsungs's tip is not to charge r0 with external power sources. A friend of mine is charging it since a while and hasn't any problems...

i was going to use a mains to usb adaptor like this one

and then use the supplied cable would this be ok

Yes, of course. Remember that the voltage of a usb port should be around 5V and the minimum current has to be 500 mA (if more it is OK, the charge time should be lower).
And yes, the supplied cable is perfect!
