hi guys,
ok finally gave in to the pull of the 300s :-D had them in 5 minutes just back from shop and all I can say is BRILLIANT! :-) love em. these are what I have been looking for all along. sound is clear with good bass and no sharp highs. plus I just stuck em in straight out of the box, and bingo, great fit :-) so much easier to wear than VBs with approx 90% of sound imo. and that is compared to VBs with zero plates on :-D cheers dan |

Hey danx55 - I am a bit surprised! But glad you love the Senns. I have the old CX300 and have not tried the new Mark ii versions myself.
As for selling the VBs? Do it here on ABi - I can almost guarantee you people will snatch them up. Now what about that monster VB thread we have all so enjoyed?

Glad to hear that you've found the right IEMs! Good luck with selling the VBs if that is going to be your final decision too
![]() Will you sell them with or without the Hybrids btw? Last edited by Urne; 02-01-2011 at 09:51 AM. |

yeah, list them here...I bet they will go fast if they are priced right. i suggest hurrying before the meelec clones get reviewed, since they are cheaper. I feel the vbs will be worth more just on build quality still, but competion is usually a price dropper.

@Les. thanks. yes the vbs have the edge on sound
quality and you don't get thundering bass, when you can get em to fit right :-D but for my freaky ears the 300s are just so easy. @Urne. ok will sell em here if I decide to shift them. would be with sony tips and ear guides. @IDvsEGO. ok will do but wont be for a few weeks as off on hols v soon cheers dan |

I blame senn themselves for my delay in getting the 300s :-D
I've previously purchased 2 sets of poor senn phones and then found the customer service to be very poor. so I was then never going to get some more senn phones. until now that is :-D |

I was out for a run recently trying out how well the VBs stayed in the ears while doing so. Both my J3 and the VBs was attached to me with a clip and the I was wearing them over-ear as I always do. It didn't help much though, I had to adjust the VBs to fit in my ear all the way around the small sea and back to the house. Do you think that the hybrids and/or ear-guides could make up for that?

hi guys
just back from hols. me and my new cx300s had great time :-D they performed really well. used them in the gym on on the plane. great fit and good noise isolation.cool :-) I did noticed that the audio quality from the plane music channels was much clearer than my mp3 tracks. might have to figure out how to sort this cheers dan |

ooh la la
just adjusted the fit of my 300s while listening to Photek - and the bass is there! niceso must mean that i spend most of the time with them not fitted 100% - shame that the ol' bass freqs are so fickle when it comes to fit
