Default Need help with irritating S9 screen

Hello there

Just purchased an S9 2.52. Love the player! I really wish it came with some darn instructions, though.

When I am playing music, eventually my screen will change to a bunch of musical note symbols or a screen that looks like a record playing. I do not want this screen. I have no idea how to get out of it. I just start hitting all the buttons and the screen until it finally goes back to the screen that has the controls. It seems to be random, as to what finally makes the screen go away. Very irritating, when I want to make an eq adjustment or go back to my song list, and I have to fight with this dumb screen first.

Any help would be appreciated. I am sure there must be a simple solution

Thanks
Frank

I have never head of this to be completely honest, but I'm guessing if you go to the settings menu from the main menu, then you can probably change that in either the display settings sub-menu or the system settings sub-menu.

I think he means the g-sensor album art screen (without album art), when one holds the player in landscape mode.

In the music screen in portrait mode, look for the icon with a lock on it - that disables the landscape screen.

I think that you are right. It is album art ( Which I dont need). The problem is that it takes up the complete screen and there are no controls visible. hmmm.

I haven't used the S9 with the stock UI in ages, so the only hint I can give is the vague one I already wrote above - look for the lock icon on the portrait music screen, wherever it might be. Maybe someone else can give you better directions as to where the lock screen feature is located.

The icon used to disable/enable that matrix browser is displayed below at #2. Just tap it and select anything except the one with the sideways rectangle...
