OMFG! That is classic!!! So much for all the Avatar fanboys who tout it as the movie of the millenium. lol

A good film with very sweet eye candy - but not so much depth or originality, eh?

Made me laugh.

Bad movie I saw recently would have to be "It's Complicated".
Mum bought several movies in one of those massive DVD sales, and we sat down to watch this one, and she and dad liked it; I got up halfway through and left. Too painfully slow. No action.

Absolutely right. Have you heard of the theory that originality is dead? That says that pretty much every story possible was already told by Shakespeare and all we have been doing is re-hashing stuff?

My comment was geared more towards all the Avatar-sheep who worship the film for its "unique" content.

Havent watched it lately but gone in 60 seconds remake was bad....but I loved it so I have to mention it here. I have 3 kids so I watch on overwhelming number of horrible barbie and care bears and strawberry shortcake movies. terrible.

^ Well, let's be fair. Perhaps the original was "pretty bad" to modern movie-going eyes, but at the time, it was quite OK. Still, I believe many believe it to be a classic cult film, with some of the best car chase scenes ever filmed. And I am pretty sure Tarantino would disagree with you here as well lol

The remake's best quality was the presence of Angelina Jolie

Actually i think the best car chase filmed was in Bullitt

Another classic was Vanishing Point

Good call guys! Bullitt indeed has an excellent car chase. A few of my other faves:
French Connection
Ronin
Deathproof
Matrix Reloaded [yes, I know it was a lot of CGI, but I saw stuff in this one I never saw before, like cameras passing through and underneath cars.

Ronin is great, another movie set in Europe I recently liked was George Clooney in The American.

Bad movies, The King's Speech - I just didn't get it.
