I don’t watch much TV but recently saw an episode of Fringe and in the past I liked The X-Files, Altered States, The Twilight Zone and Tales from the Darkside. I decided to watch a few other episodes. I started with season 1 episode 1 which interested me enough to see the whole series thru the 2nd season and now I’m up to date with season 3. Guess I like science fiction enough to waste my time watching it, wondering if any others have found it entertaining?

I find it very entertaining. I've watched the first two seasons, but yet to catch up on Season 3.

I was the biggest X-File fan. In fact, Gillian Anderson [actually, the character Scully] is almost my ideal mate

Fringe caught my eye for sure - only prob is I don't watch TV anymore. Still, I do plan to eventually catch up on all of Fringe. Definitely a good show IMO...

Season 3 has only aired 9 episodes and IIRC the 10th should be aired on the 21st. BTW that link in the first post has 5 full episodes from season 3 you can see online for free without commecials and they up new shows during the season withing 24 hours. There's also other sites that have all of season 3 up which might be less hassle, but some have awful quality ...

Anna Torv from Fringe is attractive and carries a Glock 26 so she could be right up your ally. On the other hand Gillian Anderson changed guns throughout the series if you’re comparing there’s a list below. Regarding your hot question, I’d rate both a little different but suffice to say that on the scoville scale they fall in and around the red savina habanera region of 350,000 +/- but YMMV

Wow WG you pay close attention...The girls sounded more interesting so I searched and was rewarded. Now I just have to make sure Lestar doesn't intrude on my property. I agree X-files needs to be re-watched, something else does to but I'll leave that be.

And for me, Gillian Anderson/Scully, Xfiles circa season 3-6 is the gal of my dreams. Fringe is on my list!

Just caught up on Season 3. I like where it's going so far. Actually, I was not impressed with Anna Torv in the beginning. She seems to have settled well into her role starting from the second half of Season 1. John Noble is always excellent though. But then I always seem to like eccentric, socially awkward, but talented characters.

I agree with you, he is excellent in most his roles, John Noble’s character of Dr. Walter Bishop or dubbed the mad scientist is what makes the show excel IMHO, without him the show may have failed. His quirks, wild binges, outside the norm opinions, love for music and his disconnection from the world are things I like about that character. I only hope that the move to Fridays starting Jan 21st won't be what kills the series as most other shows moved to that slot have failed, even good ones :/

Season opener "Firefly" episode aired Friday (Jan 21st) to be honest I was a little let down for a season opening, not that it was bad just nothing exciting or as good as other episodes or was I expecting too much cause it was the opener ... so who cares if he'd let Peter die for the good of others, that was expected of Walter.

Agreed, it wasn't a bad episode but the timing was off. The show just came back from a break but instead of rekindling interest among fans with a glorious mindfuck they just put in a breather episode.

Seems they've stepped it up a notch with "Immortality," dubbed by our kids as bug-mon But what I found could have some interesting outcome is with the news of Fauxlivia's pregnancy and her near admission of loving Peter who's in our universe, some spy she was, heh. Sure hope they continue to improve the episodes with "6B" and "Subject 13" ...
