Archos 5 don't want to charge

So that, when is connected with the minidoc, the charging led do not stand on, and if is conected on the USB pc, tur on the charge led, but is like dead, do not turn on the archos, is like no charging.

How old is your Archos? Maybe the battery is completely shot.

Do you know of any serious damage it might of suffered?
Have you ever opened the unit to make some sort of change (Battery change)?
Have you been able to get any image on the screen?
Are you charging it for the correct amount of time - if this is your first usage or if you haven't used it in a while...

...and, as above, how old is it?
Although, I've had my Archos for over 3 years, the batterys only just starting to die and the unit has taken some knocks (noticeably large dents on the back).

My battery died after having it for a year but I used it at least 4 out of 7 days a week.
