Sennheiser CX980 vs Creative EP630

I would like to share with my experience with earphones Sennheiser CX 980. Their price is around 145€, quality should be moved to a higher level over the cheaper earphones.
Unfortunately, when i compared CX 980 with my old Creative EP 630 which now cost 15€, CX980 are balanced very bad. In direct comparison on my Cowon S9 (without turned on EQ) CX 980 have too strong low frequencies, mid and high frequencies are almost lost inside of bass tones. Only small advantage of CX 980 is his big accessory: two sets of silicone adapters, one set for natural bass, one set for "punchy" bass, (each set includes 3 sizes of adapters), plus one set of adapters from memory foam. Package contains several spare diaphragm guards, cleaning tool, carying case etc...
Creative EP 630 (without turned on EQ) have weaker low frequencies and a bit stronger high frequencies, but (with a good EQ setting) plays pure and harmonious. Musical instruments are not lost, you have not feeling that you are in the sewer pipe with ears full of wax.
It was impossible find good EQ setting for CX 980 which i would could compare with sound quality of Creative EP 630.
I expected more from these Sennheiser headphones, i can not suppress my disappointment.
Here is my advice, if you thinking about buying this earphones: run like a hell away from this earphones.

Hey Majo...man, sucks about your experience with the Senn CX980. I have not heard those, but I am actually a little surprised you find the EP630 better - I have had the EP630 for many years and while they are OK, there are far better IEMs out there across all price ranges.

i have the cx880s and, to my ears, they're not very good, just a little better than the iems that came with my old Sony A series.
