congratulations.

i guess because I have an android phone that does as much as I need (and more), I'm not really wanting a pmp, preferring my i9 and clip+ for music alone.

At least you still have your Fuze so you haven't completely gone to the other side.

Thanks again for all the replies ! ^ Android is quite good also, but I don't think any android players would beat the touch honestly, but on a phone it's a completely diffferent story ! I now have a couple of pages of apps installed and the device is more functional than ever, it's like a mini computer

I've also joined the dark side and bought a 32GB iPod touch. I am truly pleased with everything this device can do.

^I agree, for someone who is not a techie person and wants a simple, not feature-packed touchscreen media player the ZuneHD is a great choice. For someone who wants a little more, then the iPod Touch is better.

Though you could also make the point that the touch offers the same kind of simplistic approach to maintenance and modifying the music/videos on the player as the ZHD, but also gives much more in the area of options and features.

But then again the price is quite a leap.

This is very true, but the price is overkill if you aren't going to use the other features.

Yes, in fact, my dad's ripping his tunes to it right now....I gave it to him for free since my parents didn't require me to pay the extra bucks for the 32gb touch. He seems to be enjoying it so far...it felt so great to uninstall that Zune software from my laptop ...and surprisingly my system feels slightly faster without it now !

Tested today iphone 4 and blown away with sound quality.
I wonder if itouch has same sound (not tested touch 4g)
