Talking I've gone to the "dark side"

Hey guys,

First I want to say happy holidays to everyone! This has been a great Christmas for me so far. Just thought I'd let you guys know that I've gone partially to what some would call "the dark side". I got a iPod touch 4g 32gb today and I have to say it is an amazing device. I don't hate apple as much as I used to. The iPod touch is amazing...it's a perfect match with my JVC Flats. I will probably be using this for music more than I thought I would.

Now of course I still have my Sansa Fuze !

Happy holidays everyone

-McDougal

Just keep in mind that all EA Games are on sale for $0.99 (two for $1.99). Sims 3 and Need for Speed Shift are $0.99. Those are two excellent games/apps to start with!

Also, make sure you try Pocket Legends (free). If you do, we can try to get in on a game.

Congrats McDougal! I am also very happy with my 64GB iPod Touch 4G as well. As what medion stated, there are some nice free apps in the iTunes apps store, and this changes on a daily bases. Enjoy!

Thanks everyone for the replies !

Thanks for the app suggestions, I do appreciate them since this is my very first ipod and i have no clue what's good and what's not . I installed pocketlegends and a couple of racing games so far, but am still open for suggestions on must-have free apps/games! I'm not ready to buy anything yet...but eventually will.

I only recommend the two EA games today because they're on sale for 99 cents apiece. If you think you'd ever consider buying these games, I'd recommend them today.

As for freebies, Pocket Legends is the big one (though you'll probably want to spend money on it eventually). My wife is the iPhone owner of the family, and she's not a big mobile gamer, so I don't know much outside of that.

I just purchased Need for Speed Shift and its pretty awesome . Nice game to play when I won't have wireless internet for the next 4 days . Just curious, can Pocket Legends play without internet access? Because that looks like a great game to play to pass time....

Congrats McDougal! I was kind of hoping I would get a 32 or 64 Touch, but I really didn't think I would.

I do have some decisions to make regarding gift cards/cash though...gotta see what kind of after X-mas sales go on this week. I need a new pair of portable 'phones, I'd like a 32GB microsdhc card, etc, etc.

Thanks ! Honestly the touch is quite amazing...I can watch YouTube, Netflix, use pandora or last.fm,(and go online, like I am now doh ) etc. Etc. And the sq isn't that bad either ! As of the portable headphones, what's wrong with the flats? They work perfectly with my touch, I also got a pair for my sister

They're closed, and I don't like walking the streets with closed 'phones.....I want to be able to hear the cars coming.(I've been hit by cars twice). I prefer open-back....I'm leaning towards getting PortaPros as my next ones, unless I find a great price on PX100's again.

Oh, I see. It is a good idea to be able to hear everything around you, I take off mine when I walk on the road, but it's still inconvenient
