The "CPU" is actually an SoC, and it won't tell you anything about the player's real-life performance.

SoC = System on a Chip. The S9 uses a Telechips TCC7901 SoC.

It's pretty useless comparing it to any generation of iPod SoC. The S9 plays audio and video, nothing more, nothing less. The iPod Touch does the same, and adds Wifi and other gadgets. Don't see what's there to compare. It's not like running benchmarks on these types of processors will give any conclusive results.

thats true i think there next players will use the tegra 2 that things looks awesume
