My internal memory is broken

I've deleted, formatted many times my sansa view and still when the system restarts or i shut it down, the files are still there! I cant delete my old files like my video which i deleted it then after turning the system off and turning it on again it comes back! Damn it sansaaa!!!

I cant store videos, music photo files anymore. I cant even record in the fm. My view works only with memory card

Cut your losses and get rid of the View....and get something better.

So use it with a memory card. Be thankful that it has a card slot. If it was a player without a card slot and the internal memory died then you would need to trash it. MP3 players are not like portable CD players or portable tape players which when treated properly might be usable 10 years or more.

Try looking for "for parts" sansa view on ebay. Open it and get the nand-flash board as a replacement memory.

I'd say brick it and unbrick it

Brick it: use USB MSC mode (so it appears as a drive letter), open "diskpart" utility, "list disk", "select disk X" (your View's number from list disk), then "clean" will erase it (and its firmware, library, etc, just like new). Failing that, just do what everyone else seems to do in order to brick it: format it in USB MSC mode, lol.

Absolutely 100% guaranteed to erase all the music on it. You can also just jump to "unbrick it", but switch "hold" on and hold the center "select" button before plugging it in, to enter Manufacturing Mode (which Unbrick is meant to get a player *out* of... you just need to get it "into" it).
