Unknown cable...Can somebody ID it?

Hello...anybody have an idea what the black cable on the right is for?

I got it when I purchased my S9 from somebody.



It came with an adapter(top left pic white one)
Is it a TV out cable of some sort?...I tried to plug it in my tv it does nothing...I would like to ask the seller of the S9 but can't find her anymore.

It looks like just RCA video and one audio output:
Yellow is video and White is Audio (left/mono)

So it plugs into the S9 yes? I am not too familiar with the settings on the S9, but sometimes you may have to fiddle with the settings in the menu (output settings) to make it work.

yeah it plugs in the S9...well sorta...I plug the other end to the adapter then the adapter to the S9

I'll try to check on the settings...hope it works if not...well at least I tried...hehe

didn't work...oh well...I'll just buy a genuine cowon tv out cable for S9...hehe

Yellow is video, red and white are for stereo sound, standard composite cables for hooking up video equipment other than cowon's proprietary connector into the player.
